Welcome to Lanterns for Landon Girl Scout Patch Program

Hi Aim Christina Norman. I formed my Girl Scout patch program after earning my Girl Scout Gold Award.  I was inspired to created my own Girl Scout Patch Program to help bring continuous support, awareness, and advocacy to individuals with down syndrome. My biggest inspiration in creating this program comes form my 15 year old brother Landon who has Down syndrome. Ever since my brother was born. I have had a passion and a mission for advocating for Landon and many other individuals who have Down syndrome. The cool thing about my program is that any child or adult who is a Girl Scout or not can earn the patch. You simply have to complete several task to earn a patch. It is also available here in the state of Alabama, globally, and internationally!  Through this program I have been able to partner with Down Syndrome of Alabama as well as implement my program into schools across Alabama.
