Welcome to Lanterns For Landon Girl Scout Patch Program

Hello! I am Christina Ray Norman founder of the Lanterns  for Landon Foundation and Patch Program. I formed my Girl Scout Patch Program after earning my Girl Scout Gold Award. I was inspired to create my own Patch Program to help bring continuous support, awareness, and  advocacy for individuals with Down syndrome. My biggest inspiration in creating this program comes from my 15 year old brother Landon who has Down syndrome. Ever since my brother was born, I have had a passion and a mission for advocating for Landon and many other individuals who have Down syndrome. The cool thing about my program is that any child or adult who is a Girl Scout or not can earn the patch. You simply have to complete several task to earn the patch. It is also available here in the state of Alabama, globally, and nationally! Through my program I  have been able to partner with Down Syndrome Alabama as well as implement my program into schools across Alabama. See patch requirements  below!
